How to Create Ombré Eyebrows with Makeup
Before you begin this method, have two colours of brown available in light brown and medium brown, either with powder or a high-quality pencil.
Groom Your Eyebrows
Utilize the spool brush in vertical movements to tame your eyebrows. Use scissors to trim your eyebrows so that your hair is all the same length. Additionally, this is a great time to tidy up your eyebrows by plucking them.
Lightly Fill-In
Fill in any bare spots in your eyebrows with a light brown pencil or powder. Make short, sparse strokes that look like your brow hair and stop when you get to your arch.
Fill-In the Arch
You should use a pencil or eye shadow in a darker shade once you reach your arch. Start filling in your brows at the arch and work your way out to the outer corner.
Set
Last but not least, you’ll want to set your eyebrows with a clear eyebrow gel in order to make sure your work doesn’t go to waste.
Ombré Tips
You’ll find that you’ll need some practice to create the effect that you’re looking for, but here are few ways to make your work easier.
Starting and Ending
To find out where your eyebrows should start and end, use the end of a makeup brush. Line it up along the side of your nose and it should hit the place where your eyebrow should start.
From that spot against your nose, sweep the makeup brush at a 45-degree angle till you stop at the outer corner of your eye. This should be where your brow naturally ends.
